New day starting with breakfast/ brunch at a small pub in Tokyo Station.

After our time was up at the owl cafe, we did some sightseeing and shopping. There are lots of pop up Cafes located around Japan. I thought that this was the only place but found more as we moved around Tokyo.

Full Day 1 in Japan began with owl cafe. We had to make online reservation via email to see the owls. 

One summer day my friends spontaneously decided to go visit Japan to see her sister and do some fun traveling. We purchased our tickets, rooms and made an itinerary for the next 6-7weeks before heading out on September. Personal Tip 1: If you travel during off season/peak season price of the air flights are way cheaper. I believe we purchased our non-stop round trip to Japan for ~$820 USD. Personal Tip 2: Window Seats are nice but it is better to get an aisle seat because you are free to go to restroom whenever you want. One of my experiences during long flight taught me this lesson. I picked a window seat and had to suffer so much just to go to restroom. Besides some of the plane has a new feature that lets you see outside view via camera (Front, tail, and bottom) of the plane and I found this to be more exciting. Personal Tip 3: For the actual seating arrangement, either be in the very front or the very back. I suggest this because if you're in front there is no one

This was my last minute add on to the cosplay list for D23 Expo because I had a friend who was going to cosplay from the same artist's artwork as Kida.

For my D23 Expo Day2 I went as Genderbent Hiro from Big Hero 6 with a group of friends. Given my current status, I don't have the entire WIP for this cosplay only the hair accessory. When I get back to the States and remember to post a WIP of this cosplay, then I will. Materials: - fake flowers - hair pin - glue gun & sticks

After some researching, the only major difference between a regular bag and camera bag were the padding inserts.  Thanks to my many left over scraps of fabric and materials, I was able to make this for free~ Materials: - Camera - Flannel scraps from many years ago when I was making my accessory board - Leftover high density foam from my archer snow white cosplay for wondercon 2015 (I had to use a 1inch foam becasue that was the only thing I had at home. but i would definately recommend using an 1/2 inch instead.) - Scraps of kawaii Baymax fabric from previous commissions and personal backpack

This costume was made back in fall/ winter 2014 when I was taking a Fundamental of Costume Design class at my local community center. (Yea... I already have degree but I go back to schools to learn new trade) So for the class, I was to make a Renaissance costume. Naturally I went to Genderbent Captain America from that period. While I was out I did a lot of traveling. So to catch up.  I went to japan last year with my friends and early this year I went to Melbourne, Australia for my birthday. Now I'm in Korea before heading back to Japan to work there. Well since my last post I did go to wondercon 2015, D23 Expo, and Anime Expo 2015, and Blizzcon. So there are lots for me to catch up on. If you haven't been on my instagram where I did update them way too often, now I will update this blog and hope that I can keep striving at it.
