A streetcar named desire character sketch

Image
As part of my classwork for Cypress College's THEA 145c Fundamental of Costume Design we had to read A Streetcar Named Desire  and do a Character Script Breakdown of all the characters. Then depending on which era we drew from a pile we had to do a sketch of the Blanche, Stella and Stanley. I drew 1960's  So here is my interpretation of character costume design if  A Streetcar Named Desire  was down with the 1960's outtake sorry if my sketch is not good, I'm still learning the basis of sketching

Big @ss shark plushie/ soft toy

Image
about a week ago I have finally decided to make my own shark plushie (soft toy) because it was way to expensive to buy it. I was looking into buying shark because it is RIN MATUSOKA's spirit animal~ from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club/ Eternal Summer. I started off with a small scale Then I hit it with a big almost 5 feet (58.5inches to be exact) shark when i first started, i was sketching it on my computer table and then it got out of hand ended up using a bigger table on the floor the final measurement of the shark was 58.5 inches comparison of my shark pattern to my height (I'm about 5'3") Sewn all the pieces together after adding on the eyes and gills and going through 3 bags of 24oz stuffings this is my ~5ft shark =D I am currently taking commission for this, you can email me lunasakurakim@yahoo.com with the subject titled "Shark plushie commission information" or leave a comment with your email address so i ca

Like I said before, i can't draw so...  i used lightbox at school to outline the body shape and filled in the rest & blend later that week i went to art supply warehouse and bought a lightpad. Then i went with some practice with the lightpad at home. Now i just need to practice more on sketching croquis and clothes >.< Also i'm taking a computer programming class and this screenshot is my first programming with visual C#

So far, my clicker update

Image
So far, my clicker wip and so it begins with a basic mask for some kind of structure my formula for the paper mache glue: 1/4cup flour 1/2cup water (basically 1:2 ratio) used small screwdriver to poke holes marked where the wires where going to poke through used 20 gauge for in between used 14 gauge for outline structure paper mache front part of the mask so after i finished making the front part of the mask I found a reference picture that showed the back part of the mask... yes there's a back part. glued the helmet makeshift to the mask clay and dried the front while i wired the back I used paper clay, so its super light. bought paper clay at Daiso (Saved so much money~) front part of the mask, clay finally done with claying the mask gathering all my paints and brushes base paint close up detailing so much detail to go and i'm not even half done. in fact i'm
