Lucy
Ever since Inception released in 2010 I thought to myself that this movie was way too similar to Japanese anime movie called Paprika released in 2006.
and before Hunger Games movies were coming out I read the synopsis of the book and said to myself, this book is way too much like Japanese movie called Battle Royale released in 2000
With these constant connection that I was making as they were being release I started to ask myself..
I mean after all...

"Hollywood using Japanese anime as their base for making movies?"
I mean after all...

the foundation of the Hollywood movies are way too, well, VERY INSPIRED.
(Here are some articles that you can read up if you want to know how similar they are)
and I'm not saying that it's a bad thing just pointing stuff out here.
(and I'm pretty sure that the Japanese creators too got their inspiration from somewhere/ someone)
Most of the anime inspired Hollywood movies have done pretty well in the box office as well

So what is the point of all this?
Well, its just that today there is another movie that is being released and it goes under this category/ topic
Although I have yet to watch the movie, from what I have been hearing and seeing
This movie appears to share its similarity with Japanese Anime called "Elfen Lied"
and well, the name of the main character in Elfen Lied is also "Lucy"
After all this... i just want to say that I can't wait to see this movie
